PEEr at zoo
October 2007
In 2006 Peer became incorporated as Peer UK Ltd in addition to becoming re-registered as a new charity. This change in status has enabled us to broaden our remit to include selling works by artists for the express purpose of supporting our not-for-profit programme of activities. Our booth at Zoo will serve as a platform to illustrate the breadth and diversity of our programme as commissioners and initiators of a diverse range of ambitious projects both at the Hoxton Street gallery and in the public realm. Our participation in Zoo will enable us to generate essential funds for our core activities through sales, and to attract new supporters though our patrons and benefactors scheme.
A number of the exhibiting artists will show work that relates to the projects that they have carried out with Peer and others will show work made specially for the Zoo Art Fair. The artists are: EDWINA ASHTON, DAVID AUSTEN, BREDA BEBAN, HANNAH COLLINS, JUAN CRUZ, MIKEY CUDDIHY, JOHN FRANKLAND, CONOR KELLY, TANIA KOVATS, ELIZABETH MAGILL, ANTHONY MCCALL, BOB AND ROBERTA SMITH and JENNET THOMAS. Peer is extremely grateful to all of the artists for their participation and their support of our future.
