PEER Notices is a unique chance for an artist to work on a public art project on Hoxton Street across a year; allowing deep and embedded relationships to form with place and the people who live, work and study here. The commissioned artist for 2019-20 is Rebecca Moss. Since April 2019 she has been devising workshops with and for the PEER Ambassadors that critically think about how art on the street interacts with different members of society and how it can be a vehicle for creative engagement with the public.
In the next coming months, they will be taking residence in PEER’s noticeboard next to the Post Office to pose questions to passersby. Throughout the residency they will have to negotiate different online and analogue ways to receive the answers to these questions.
Follow their progress below.
