SPECIAL FRIENDS OFFER

TWO LIMITED EDITIONS BY MIKE NELSON

Special offer only availble to Friends of Peer (see left).
Your membership will be verified prior to shipment of
artwork. If you opt to collect your print from Peer, please
call to make an appointment.

In 2009 Mike Nelson generously agreed to launch our Friends of PEER scheme by producing two limited editions based on his now legendary work for the 2001 Venice Biennale The Deliverance and The Patience. This labyrinthine installation occupied more than 4000 square feet of space and stands as one of PEER’s most ambitious commissions, catapulting Nelson onto the international stage.

These editions are not only exclusive to PEER, but are only the second and third print editions that he has ever produced.

Mike Nelson silkscreen print

Towards a non-denominational altar (from The Deliverance and The Patience, 2001/2009).

700mm x 1000mm screenprint on 115 gsm Campaign MG poster paper signed and numbered in an edition 250 (+20 APs).

This black and white image is a behind-the-scenes shot of the installation as it was being constructed. The items on the shelves are laid out, ready to be selected and incorporated into the narrative of the work. This large format silkscreen poster has been produced in an edition of 250 and is only £35 plus delivery to Friends of PEER.

Mike Nelson inkjet print

Untitled (From Outside The Anarchists' Bar/Next to the Cutting Room), 2001/2009.

350mm x 600mm print size (each image size 162mm x 244mm) inkjet print from two 35mm transparencies onto 300 gsm Somerset Smooth signed and numbered in an edition of 50 (+10 APs).

Nelson’s second limited edition comprises two images of the installation itself, offering contrasting views of the uneasy and intense spaces experienced within the work. This print is produced in an edition of 50 and is offered to Friends of PEER for £190.
