Neil Clements and

Kathy Prendergast

PEER is delighted to launch two limited edition works to support our programme in 2017.

1967 by Neil Clements

Following on from his two-person exhibition with Jeremy Moon at PEER this summer, Neil Clements has produced a stunning print that features remade versions of every painting Moon produced during 1967. Clements’ practice investigates ideas around authorship, while frequently making direct reference to abstract artworks produced during the 1960s and 70s. Part homage, part formal dissection, Clements’ source for this exercise in reverse engineering was the hand-drawn and meticulously annotated records of his shaped canvases Moon maintained at that time.

The publication of this timely edition also marks the 50th anniversary of The Summer of Love, and would make an ideal gift for Christmas as well as a great way to support our programme.

In an edition of 100, the first 25 are priced at £50 to Friends of PEER and £70 regular price.

The Friends of PEER price will increase to £60 (or £80 regular price) for edition numbers 26 to 50, £70 (or £90 regular price) for edition numbers 51 to 75 and £80 (or £100 regular price) for edition numbers 76 to 100.

Planets by Kathy Prendergast

Kathy Prendergast’s 20 exquisite postcard-sized watercolour drawings are a continuation of her longstanding investigation into maps and mapping. Prendergast has turned her gaze away from the earth’s cartography – often with a focus on notions of settlement, migration and displacement – and has looked to the un-colonised heavens and the cosmic abyss. These unique works were produced during a short residency at PEER while the capital improvement works were being carried out in 2015.

Each unique work is £285.00 to Friends of PEER and £310.00 regular price. Click here to view all 20 twenty drawings.

Prendergast’s work can currently be seen in two exhibitions in Dublin; Atlas, at Kerlin gallery until December 10 and Black Maps, at Douglas Hyde Gallery until February 1, 2017.
